Itinerary

The day begins with a trip to La Mitad del Mundo, the famous monument that marks the equatorial line, where you can stand with one foot in the Northern Hemisphere and one foot in the Southern Hemisphere. After we visit the Equator monument, we head to Quito’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best-preserved colonial cities in South America. Wander through cobblestone streets, admire the baroque-style churches, and visit Plaza Grande, the San Francisco Church, and La Compañía de Jesús church, known for its intricate gold leaf interior.
